In the beginning, Galaxy Perks was very small: one court and a handful of curious players. That early group looked nothing like a typical basketball academy. One person had never held a basketball before, another was a busy parent who just wanted more movement and a way to reset after work, and a quiet teenager was trying to enjoy the sport again after stepping away. Instead of loud commands and endless exhausting drills, our founder chose a slower pace, simple explanations, and a mindset where mistakes were treated as a normal part of learning. There was lots of laughter, plenty of missed shots, and many "let's try again" moments — and that is how the real spirit of Galaxy Perks started to form.
From there, our community grew in a natural way. More people joined, and we brought in coaches who share the same values: stay patient, stay kind, and support players in an honest, respectful way. Our coaches do not just shout instructions from across the court. They work close to you, split every movement into clear pieces, and practice with you until the skill feels comfortable and natural in your body. Whether your goal is a stronger shot, cleaner dribbling, quicker footwork, or simply a more active week in Abu Dhabi, we shape the training around your real daily life instead of forcing you into a strict one-size plan.
Today, Galaxy Perks feels less like a rigid academy and more like a welcoming basketball home. Kids learn that missing a shot and trying again is completely normal, not something to be ashamed of. Adults finally begin the basketball journey they have delayed for years. Friends and families meet on our courts and turn training into a weekly routine they genuinely look forward to. For us, success is not only a perfect shot or a clean scoreboard. The true win is that quiet moment when someone leaves the court thinking, "I never believed basketball could be for me, but now it actually feels possible." That feeling is why we teach — and we would love to help you start your own basketball chapter here in Abu Dhabi.
